Hard-grooving portrait of modern funk and fusion

Ginada Piñata taps the influences of funk, fusion, and electronica to create a stylistic collage which truly sets them apart. The band consists of Sam Jannotta (keys), Ken Bussey (guitar), Jesse Shultzaberger (drums) and Matthew Lewis (Bass).  Since their inception, Ginada Piñata has excelled at generating hard driving grooves while musically mining the soul of the moment. With two full length releases, and performances at hundreds of festivals, clubs and events, their drive is to produce a live show which consistently entertains, excites and inspires the listener.

 Mid-Atlantic based funk-fusion maestros Ginada Piñata are proud to announce the release of their new self-titled album.  Ginada Piñata contains eight tracks of original material written and arranged by longtime bandmates Sam Jannotta (k), Ken Bussey (g), Matthew Lewis (b) and Jesse Shultzaberger (d), whose accomplished musicianship and 20 years of history combine to produce a hard-grooving portrait of modern funk. Recorded in two sessions at Unger and Mystery Ton Studies, and mixed/mastered by Oskar Sadle in Stockholm, Sweden, the album explores vintage soundscapes while fusing a myriad of genres without sacrificing the quintessential driving sound that fans have come to expect from the group.
